Vuélvete Local is a digital platform to discover and support local commerce. Barris Vius is the initiative that brings that mission to the streets, driving campaigns, events, and projects that connect people with local shops and bring neighborhoods to life.
A journey through past initiatives.

The first edition of Art al Comerç turned local shops into cultural spaces, hosting exhibitions, workshops, and other artistic proposals.
The initiative connected merchants, artists, and neighbors, inviting them to discover new local businesses and their activity through cultural experiences that brought life to the neighborhoods.

With this initiative, we promote local consumption through an interactive map, a directory of businesses, and a schedule of activities that bring citizens closer to projects committed to more responsible food.
The initiative brings together 25 food businesses, organizes its own activities, disseminates proposals from collaborating entities and, together with Slow Food Educa Catalunya, brings educational content to more than 100 educational centers.

Tourists, Treat Us Like Home is an awareness campaign that promotes a more conscious tourism committed to the city. Away from mass consumption in large chains, the initiative invites you to discover local commerce and support those who keep Barcelona's identity alive.
Through actions in highly touristic areas, the campaign brings visitors a map of independent shops and reminds them that every purchase counts: choosing a neighborhood cafe or a souvenir made by an artisan helps the wealth of tourism remain in the local economy.

7 local shops | Synergies & community
We held our first meetup for local shops, a day to exchange ideas and build collaborations between local projects.
From this meeting emerged joint initiatives such as conscious tourism campaigns, actions for neighborhood festivals, and the creation of a new WhatsApp community to connect businesses.

Between the music, the food, and the showcase of businesses, there was also space to play and discover the value of small businesses. With our roulette, hundreds of people tested their knowledge while learning fun facts about local commerce in an entertaining way.
All of this was made possible by the support of the 15 local businesses that teamed up with us, offering gifts and discounts for everyone who joined in.
